My favorite time of the year is upon us and I cant help to feel giddy that I am able to fill up on candy corn and horror movies as well. The holiday where my kids cant look any cuter in costume and I can wear a mask to look uglier. So far we have watched the first season of Goose bumps, decorated the house, and have had horror movie marathons. Its not even October yet!! Here is to an awesome Halloween!!
Sports entertainment monsters WWE may have created a successful monster of there own in horror movie franchising. They announced a few years ago they bought the rights to the 90's horror movie franchise "The Leprachaun" it had mild success with its first run in the 90's followed by 4 direct to video sequels. WWE's revamp of the first film strips the away the comedy that was seen in the 90's along with the big city back grounds and takes us back to the "origin" of the gold loving little people all the way into a small village in Ireland. Not to give away any plots since when this is posted the movie will still be fairly new to rent but there are a lot tourist in the right place at the wrong time. I would give the movie an outstanding 7 out of 10. The movie follows the original roots of horror and older slasher films. It has it's fair share of mild jokes, sex appeal , and blood for any horror fan to enjoy!! I'm ready for a sequel!!
